Fear of Recurrence Therapy (FORT) is a manualized and standardized therapist led group intervention.
It consists of 6 weekly sessions of 90-120 minutes each and includes take-home assignments.
The Fear of Recurrence Guidelines are recommendations based on evidence-based strategies and/or interventions to screen, assess, and manage fear of cancer recurrence (FCR) in adults living with cancer and their care partners/family members to improve patient outcomes.

Designed by and for health professionals, this course offers a free, 30-minute online training module to help you identify, assess, and provide tailored support to people experiencing fear of cancer recurrence.
An evaluation of the course found it improved health professionals' knowledge and confidence addressing fear of cancer and the feasibility of implementing fear of cancer recurrence care in practice.
